Senior of Significance
Doris Anne Bradley
"DA"

This is what living with purpose looks like!

DA is a longtime volunteer and patron of the Shepherd's Center, following in the footsteps of her mother. She also volunteers at the library of the Mint Museum and at the Myers Park Branch of the Charlotte Public Library.  She is a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she works in the library, serves on the Travel-Learn-Connect committee and sings in the choir.

DA holds a graduate degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She began her career at the Public Library of Charlotte and then the US Army Special Services. Subsequently, she worked at several universities including Yale, Washington University and the University of Rochester and retired in 1996 after 27 years with the J. Murray Atkins Library at UNC- Charlotte.

Congratulations to our friend, DA, on becoming the very first Senior of Significance at the Shepherd's Center of Charlotte.
